Learn the old-fashioned way
for long-term retention of knowledge.
Studies show that hands-on, project based learning combined with pencil and paper reinforcement leads to superior academic outcomes, is healthier and more engaging than learning on Chromebooks and tablets
It exceeds national standards in math, language arts, science, and social studies.
Bonus curriculum: entrepreneurship, financial Management, public speaking, world art masters, math games and STEM!
Our integrated custom program is based upon classic literature, and combines writing prompts, grammar games, spelling activities, fostering strong literacy skills and creativity. We practice handwriting and penmanship (and teach cursive!) during our spelling practice, and students learn to structure their thoughts in a mind-map, thereby teaching the foundations of great writing. Students learn to write essays wholly using pencil & paper, thus never using Al as a crutch.
Our custom curriculum combines manipulatives, games, cartoons, word problems, and real-life examples with plenty of practice. Our drills are based on games and repetition, building confidence through strength and true mastery of concepts.
This interactive class is based on group labs and activities. We truly want students to learn by questioning, hypothesizing, and learning to write up their observations. We employ a three-year annual rotation for Science, allowing students of all grades to engage in the same thematic units at differentiated levels, promoting collaboration and peer learning. When studying astronomy, for example, first graders may be creating clay models of the solar system while 8th graders learn about elliptical orbits, gaseous vs. solid planets, and more advanced concepts from our solar system.
Our students learn about world geography and history, with US history and geography integrated within this study. We employ a three-year annual rotation for World History, from ancient to modern times, allowing students of all grades to engage in the same thematic units at differentiated levels, promoting collaboration and peer learning. We utilize skits, plays, interactive games, and hands-on activities to make history come alive! A heavy emphasis is on writing prompts to further strengthen overall writing skills.
Train your child to become an entrepreneur! This is not a theoretical class, it’s all about action & hands-on doing. Guide your child ages 4-14 through the steps needed to get a real business off the ground. Children learn the differences between products and services, and brainstorm ideas from lemonade stands to jewelry design to dog-walking and more! Students work with friends to create businesses, brand them, develop business cards, design logos, price their products and services, and get sales. We have two live entrepreneurship fairs per year where students showcase their businesses and generate more sales. Fun for the whole family and designed to lay the foundation for entrepreneurial thinking for a lifetime!
Students gain valuable skills in budgeting and economic principles, preparing them for real-world financial challenges. From money math at age 4, counting pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters to balancing a checkbook, understanding debt, credit card interest rates, mortgages, and more, children ages 4-14 wrestle with real-world money concepts and learn how to manage their finances.
Train your child how to be comfortable in front of a crowd at any age! Starting at a young age, our students learn how to get up in front of their peers. This will instill lifelong confidence in this important skill! From introductory speeches to persuasive, humorous, or impromptu speaking, our students get to practice sharing their ideas and humor with their friends all year long.
Learn about the great artists of the world, the time and culture in which they lived, and learn how to do art in their style! This comprehensive, cultured curriculum is a terrific, well-rounded art history and art program. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math): Our STEM program emphasizes hands-on experimentation, problem-solving, and innovation. Students engage in projects using homemade, simple materials that foster curiosity about how things work. We work on the scientific and engineering mindset, teaching students how to think about building and creating. Through collaborative challenges, students develop critical thinking, design skills, and a love for inquiry, laying a strong foundation for future science and technology pursuits.
Incorporating engaging and fun math games, students develop logical reasoning, strategic thinking, and speed in mental calculations. Using fun manipulatives, dice, cards, and bingo, these activities are so fun and engaging that your child won’t realize they’re doing “work”! These games make learning math exciting, promote a positive attitude towards the subject, and reinforce foundational skills through friendly competition and collaborative play.
Our Applied Math program connects mathematical concepts to everyday life. Students learn practical skills such as budgeting, measuring, calculating time, and interpreting data, helping them see the relevance of math beyond the classroom and preparing them for real-world problem-solving. From tripling a chocolate chip cookie recipe to deciphering a construction project, students learn real-world applications of utilizing mathematics.

Integration helps children create associations, thereby increasing retention and meaning.
By layering and combining, we create depth in our activity-based multi-faceted curricula. We mix spelling words with handwriting practice, geography with history, mathematics with games and art, and science with reason, logic and hands-on labs.
Games and manipulates
Children learn through play, and by engaging all the senses. After conceptual understanding, we discuss, write, practice and repeat the process.
Making Learning Fun & Relevant
We develop critical thinking skills so that children’s neural pathways are prepared to direct AI, not be pawns of it. Our lessons are intentionally joyful so that children associate happiness with intellectual development and become lifelong learners.
